Open Invitation! Several of us are going to run in the 3rd Annual Runway 5K Run on October 31st at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The run is held as a benefit for LifeSpan’s Community Activity and Employment Transition Program. The run/walk starts at 8am and will probably conclude around 9:15. The course runs around the airport and alongside one of the Airports runways which will provide views of planes landing and taking off.
I want to extend the invitation for anyone that would like to run with us! That afternoon is also the NC State vs. Florida State football game and then of course it’s HALLOWEEN! So if you are from out of town, feel free to hang around for the night and the evening activities!
